Advanced Veterinary Services was started in 1989 by Dr. Richard M. Brazil and Dr. Erin Walsh. Its functions include diagnosing and treating diseases of ranch animals and the businesses they are a part of. The mission statement of Advanced Veterinary Services reads as follows:
"Advanced Veterinary Services is dedicated to applying the best in science, technology and medicine to the betterment of ranch animals, families and businesses. Advanced Veterinary Services is committed to pursuing mutually beneficial relationships founded on the principles of honesty, integrity and honor."
