Ranch Vision® is the offspring of a computer simulation for grazing livestock ranches created by Dr. Richard Brazil.
This version was field tested on actual livestock ranches for three years. The results were so impressive that plans were made to begin developing a similar program for general distribution.
Through a cooperative effort between Advanced Veterinary Services and TechniSoft Software Labs, a Windows® version has now been created.
Written from scratch using the C language by principle developers Michael Miller and Timothy Harsch, Ranch Vision embodies all of the concepts initially contained within the original version, and much more. It has been formatted to be easy to use for even the novice computer user and contains a great deal of information regarding the principles and objectives of ranch management.
Ranch Vision was beta tested with input from dozens of ranchers on actual grazing livestock ranches and a wide range of ranching situations.
